Order Security

All personal information entered in the order process will be encrypted on our secure server, which means that all your personal information is protected. If at any time you would like to verify this information, you should see the lock icon in the lower right corner of your browser screen. Customers accessing the internet through MSN or AOL may sometimes not be able to see the security icon, but please be assured it is there. Pere Marquette River Lodge has taken every precaution to ensure that transactions will be safe and your privacy protected. When Will My Credit Card Be Charged?

After submitting your order, your credit card information is encrypted and stored on our secure server. Your credit card information will be processed by hand shortly after your order is placed, usually within 24 hours.

Sales Tax Information

We are required by law to charge sales tax of 6% for all orders shipped within Michigan. If your order is shipped outside of Michigan, you will not be charged sales tax.

Order Status

After placing an order at Pere Marquette River Lodge, you can check the status of your order by logging into Your Account. Upon log in, you can view your account history, which outlines all orders placed at Pere Marquette River Lodge. Your order status will go through the following stages as it is prepared for shipment: Pending: Your order and credit card are being processed. Processing: Your order is being picked and prepared for shipment. Shipped: Your order has been shipped and tracking information will appear with your order details. You will also receive a shipment email with this information.

Order Emails

To ensure Pere Marquette River Lodge can send you the necessary Order Emails after you place an order, please add staff@pmlodge.com to your address book and/or change settings on SPAM blocking software to allow emails from staff@pmlodge.com. We will e-mail you first and make phone calls only after we have not had an e-mail response within 72 hours. After placing an order at Pere Marquette River Lodge, you will receive an order confirmation email that lists the items ordered, shipping address and order total. You can review your order details by logging into your Red Hen account. If there are any problems with your order at this time, please contact Pere Marquette River Lodge at staff@pmlodge.com so any adjustments can be made. We will send you an email when your order has been shipped. This email will list the shipping method and date of shipment. You will usually receive tracking information directly from the carrier (e.g. UPS, USPS, or FedEx). You can use the carrier information and tracking number provided in both the shipment email and in Your Account to track your package at the following: United Parcel Service: www.ups.com FedEx: www.fedex.com US Postal Service: www.usps.com If you do not receive an order confirmation email after placing an order, Pere Marquette River Lodge suggests checking your email filter and/or spam blocker settings. If your email system uses an email filter or spam blocker, add staff@pmlodge.com to your address book, to ensure you will receive future emails regarding your order.

Out of Stock Items

While we strive to keep our website full of products, we sometimes run out of popular items. When an item is out of stock, it will still appear on the website, but will be marked "out of stock" and will not be available for order. Pere Marquette River Lodge features real-time inventory, so as soon as the product is available for us to ship, it will be available for you to order. Unfortunately, we do not know when product shipments will arrive from manufacturers, and we cannot provide an availability date for out of stock items via phone or email. We suggest you check the site regularly to see when an out of stock item becomes available for order - no future orders will be taken.

Backordered Items

Inventory levels are updated by hand at Pere Marquette River Lodge as we process orders. While Pere Marquette River Lodge tries to avoid being out of stock, there are times when item may be on backorder. If an item you purchased is on backorder, we will contact you immediately by email to apprise you of the situation. At this time, you can decide how to handle the backorder. If multiple items have been purchased, some of which are available while others are on backorder, we will contact you about shipping in-stock items immediately and the backordered item as it becomes available.

Order Cancellations

We maintain real-time inventory to ensure that we pick, pack and ship orders to our customers as quickly as possible. We do not process drop-ship orders. Those orders are submitted to manufacturers for processing upon receiving the order. Since order processing of standard and drop-ship orders often begins almost immediately after orders are placed, we cannot guarantee that you will be able cancel orders placed on our site. However, we do not want to send you unwanted items and we strive to improve communication after orders are placed. Please e-mail us at staff@pmlodge.com immediately after placing an unwanted order. You can always return an unwanted order by following our return instructions.

Return Policy

Pere Marquette River Lodge offers a 30-day, money-back guarantee on all products. If not satisfied with an item(s), customers may return the purchased product(s) for a full refund, excluding shipping and handling charges, providing the product has not been played with and is in its original box. If a product has been opened, rendering the item unsaleable, Pere Marquette River Lodge reserves the right to contest the return. To receive a refund, please include a note explaining why the item is being returned, and include name, shipping address, and phone number, along with the original receipt, with the returned item(s). Defective items may be returned for a replacement, and if that is not acceptable, a full refund, within 30 days. Please include a note explaining why the item is defective and include name, shipping address, and phone number, along with the original receipt. If the manufacturer is at fault for the defect, Pere Marquette River Lodge will assume the return shipping charges. WARNING: Returning a product to Pere Marquette River Lodge that was not purchased from us is illegal, and all remedies available to Pere Marquette River Lodge will be taken immediately.
